Baked fish with a delicious lemon and herb crust

Fish should always be incorporated into your healthy diet plan – it is a fantastic source of good protein. The great thing about this recipe is the fact that it is really easy to make. You will need to preheat your oven to 230⁰c. Grease some baking paper and season your fish. You can opt for any white fish. Haddock is always a good choice. Now toast some white bread and break it up into extremely fine crumbs in the food processor. Add lemon zest, crushed garlic, herbs (chives and tarragon works well), lemon juice and oil, and mix again. You can adjust the amounts to your tasting. There’s no set rules with this one. Once you have the mix place it softly on top of your fish. Bake for approximately 12 minutes until the fish is cooked through and the top is golden. This recipe is delicious and you won’t consume more than 300 calories.

Turkey with ginger and citrus sauce

This is another recipe that is low in calories (approximately 310 kcal) and full of goodness. Start off by pressing your turkey steak into some corn flour. Heat some oil into a pan until hot. Add the steak and fry for a couple of minutes until golden on each side. Now you need to add ginger, honey and orange juice to your pan. Bring it to the boil. Add some corn flour and a small amount of water to thicken and increase the sauce. You want to keep going until you get a syrup like consistency. Now you will add the turkey back into pan until cooked. This is delicious and if you really love the fruity quality then add some orange segments into the pan too.
